Check Out My Little Cowboy...

I just had to post a pic. Isn't he precious? Now all he needs is a cowboy hat and a horse :)

My book is being printed today. After the publisher reviews the proof and everything goes well, it'll be released THIS FRIDAY (October 30). I'm so excited and can't wait to see the finished product.

It's FINALLY finished!!!

Well, the interior of my book is finally complete. They're going to make a couple of minor changes to the book cover and then EVERYTHING will be ready to print. I'm so excited!!!

I got to review the layout this week and couldn't be more thrilled with the illustrations. I'm sooooo pleased!!! This book is definitely something that any dog lover would enjoy. And it's also so versatile. Even though this is a gift book, because of the fun illustrations, children will enjoy it, too :)

This book is filled with 145 pages of fun illustrations and sayings. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and can't wait to see it in person.

Oh....the book cover is also OUTSTANDING!!! Very colorful!!!

My Little Buddy

Here are a couple of "more current" photos of my little buddy, Bentley. He's what inspired me to write a book about dogs. Well, that and the fact that I'm a HUGE dog lover!!! Okay...so I'm a HUGE animal lover in general (as long as they don't have a lot of legs...LOL).

Bentley, as you can probably tell, is one SPOILED ROTTEN Shih Tzu. But I wouldn't have it any other way. People may think I'm a bit looney when it comes to how I treat him, but I'm sure all of you dog owners (or animal owners) can relate :)

And just like the bandana says, he's definitely MAMA'S DOG!!! ;)
